    OVERVIEW

    The effective use of social media and digital marketing is an integral part of our communications.

    Regular growth in the field means that we need to ensure that we have more experts in the field and that they have the knowledge and experience to undertake those duties.

    This apprenticeship provides a good foundation for learning about the field, and the program provides the tools to enable apprentices to be at the forefront of a rapidly changing field.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

      Receive work-based experiences and support to complete an apprenticeship and gain qualifications in the Social Media and Digital Marketing field
    • Work as part of the development team to provide information about the Byw’n Iach vision
    • Support Byw’n Iach to co-ordinate events and create advertising and marketing opportunities
    • Ensure the Byw’n Iach brand is developed, maintained and communicated
    • Ensure that the people of Gwynedd are at the heart of everything we do.

    MAIN DUTIES

    Each apprentice should demonstrate the following:

    Here’s an overview of the main duties of the post:

    • Play a role in driving, developing and implementing Byw’n Iach’s marketing strategy
    • Support the team in ensuring that service targets and outcomes are communicated effectively (based on the planned strategy)
    • Support the team to research, write and distribute press releases and articles to distribute to local and national media
    • Ensure that good quality information is available to support engagement activities
    • Support the team in implementing a range of marketing, PR and market research techniques to reach potential service users, including those that are hard to reach
    • Assist in dealing with Byw’n Iach’s internal and external websites
    • Support Byw’n Iach in relation to marketing and publicity
    • Assist in the design and production of service publications, leaflets and other promotional
    • materials, including presentations, seminars and exhibitions
    • Assist as required in dealing with general telephone inquiries
    • Assist the team as required to prepare and distribute publicity materials
    • Carry out duties giving full consideration to Health and Safety
    • Act effectively with others in demonstrating a clear understanding of the importance of Equality
    • Responsibility for managing information in accordance with the Council's Information Management standards and guidelines.
    • Commitment to reducing the Council's carbon emissions in accordance with the Carbon Management Plan and to encourage others to act positively towards reducing the Council's carbon footprint.

    (b) providing skilled assistance in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics and the development of audit and/or research projects.

    (c) Working with the staff teams to develop therapeutic and person-centred approaches

    You must have at least a good Honours Degree (2:1 level or higher/or equivalent) providing eligibility for Graduate Membership of BPS.    Previous experience of working as an Assistant Psychologist or working within a clinical/psychology team is essential, experience as a Senior Assistant Psychologist is preferable.  Experience of further qualifications in mental health and/or research (e.g. Postgraduate certificate in CBT)

    C.L.Jones is a family run business trading since 1982 with branches across Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy.

    We are now recruiting for our busy Llanrwst branch:

    Kitchen and Bathroom Designer/Sales Assistant

    Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

    • To meet and greet customers in the showroom
    • Provide a full consultation to establish their needs
    • Create a design that meets with their requirements
    • Put together a detailed quote
    • Conduct home visits to take measurements as and when required
    • Display strong sales skills to maximise all sales opportunities
    • Must be able to close the sale
    • Consistently provide an excellent standard of customer service to ensure repeat business

    Person Specification:

    • Design experience in the Kitchens or Bathrooms industry is essential
    • Experience of face to face sales and consultation is essential
    • Passion, energy and drive to deliver the best within timescales set
    • Experience of working to sales targets
    • CAD experience is desirable but not essential (ideally ArtiCAD)
    • Welsh language is desirable.
    • A full clean driving licence is essential

    Critical purpose of role:

    • To understand customer requirements and convert them into inspirational designs that customers want to buy
    • To generate sales in line with company targets
    • To develop design skills in order to minimise errors for customers, and to share design skills with colleagues in order to improve company design skills as a whole

    Main responsibilities:

    • Welcome customers into store, qualify them (ascertain the budget) and offer help and guidance with their shopping trip
    • Guide them through the sales plan, as required
    • Book customer appointments for home measures and design reviews
    • Conduct home measure visits in customers’ homes and accurately measure and capture key design elements within a Planner Sheet
    • Listen and capture customer requirements to ensure design meets or exceeds expectations
    • Generate inspirational designs that customers want to buy
    • Confirm all details with customers and gain their sign off on Planner Sheets, Charters and contracts to ensure errors are minimised
    • Explain key documents to customers so they are clear on what they are signing for
    • Follow up on sales leads from new and yet to close customers to ensure all potential sales are captured
    • Adherence to compliance processes as directed by Showroom Manager
