    • Conduct home measure visits in customers’ homes and accurately measure and capture key design elements within a Planner Sheet
    • Listen and capture customer requirements to ensure design meets or exceeds expectations
    • Generate inspirational designs that customers want to buy
    • Confirm all details with customers and gain their sign off on Planner Sheets, Charters and contracts to ensure errors are minimised
    • Explain key documents to customers so they are clear on what they are signing for
    • Follow up on sales leads from new and yet to close customers to ensure all potential sales are captured

    Main Purpose of Role:

    To deliver high standards of childcare and education to the nursery children to the ages of 0-13 years.

    Specific Responsibilities:

    • To welcome children and parents into the nursery.
    • To deliver activities suitable to the children’s ages and ability in order to stimulate the children they are working with.
    • To read stories, sing songs/rhymes and dance with the children as part of developing their audio sensory skills.
    • Keep accurate records of daily activities, foods, nappy changes and records of achievement for all children under their care and record any accidents in the accident book.
    • Be flexible within working practices of the Nursery and help where needed, including domestic jobs within the Nursery, e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleaning equipment etc.
    • Work with the Manager and team members to ensure that the Nursery’s philosophy is reflected.
    • To ensure the Nursery policies and procedures are adhered to with regards to the security and safety of the children
    • To undertake specified child care tasks such as ensuring mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing, washing, feeding and changing children as required and providing comfort and warmth to an unhappy or sick child
    • Help to make sure that the environment meets the needs of Nursery children, reflecting their cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development and updating the displays and notice boards as requested.
    • Work towards achieving NVQ Level 2-5 in Childcare or already possess these qualifications.
    • Complying with health and safety company policy and legislation.
    • Carrying out any ‘ad hoc’ assignments as and when required.

    Person Specification:

    • Experience of caring for very young children
    • Knowledge of child development and relevant assessment schemes
    • Ability to communicate well with adults and children
    • Ability to write legibly
    • Awareness of Health and Safety and practical hygiene issues.
    • Positive, approachable attitude and a team player.
    • Food hygiene knowledge and/or certificate.
