What is KTP?
KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnerships) enables your business to access expertise to introduce new capabilities to your organisation which is unique to your company. KTP has a proven track record of delivering excellent results in a wide range of sectors and varying company size. In Wales the majority of projects are funded by Welsh Government and Innovate UK.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are a three way partnership between a company, academic team (The College) and a graduate (KTP associate).
A KTP delivers a wide variety of knowledge and expertise that is tailor-made to a company's strategic needs. In addition to this we recruit a talented graduate to work specifically on the project to embed new capability whilst setting out a platform for growth within the organisation. Additionally each KTP has a funding package for the graduates that provides training, development and travel opportunities.
The KTP team at Grŵp Llandrillo Menai provide dedicated advice and support throughout the project life‐cycle: from initial contact and application to associate recruitment and management of all administration and finance related aspects.
Is my business eligible?
KTP is widely available to a host of businesses and organisations. These can be from a range of sectors from manufacturing, design, computer science, health and a range of other areas. The KTP team at GLLM will provide guidance and advice during the initial scoping of the project and will confirm whether the project is suitable for funding.
