The Old Courthouse is a unique, elegant music venue with dining in the heart of Caernarfon. The venue includes

The Witness Room Bar, The Bench Bistro and the Courthouse Theatre hosting live music performances, functions

and weddings.

We are recruiting for the position of Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities:

 Greeting customers

 Ensuring customers have a positive dining experience

 Ensuring service runs smoothly.

 To be physically present on the restaurant floor and in the kitchen to monitor the quality of the service and

the food.

 Ensuring that the restaurant complies with local health and safety codes for eating establishments.

 Serving when required

 The hiring, training and disciplining of restaurant staff,

 Taking and dealing with customer queries and complaints

Administrative duties:

 Cash handling

 Weekly inventory and ordering of supplies for bar

 Tallying receipts

 Preparing deposits

 Inputting menus & other required data on EPOS system

 Scheduling and distributing FOH staff Rota

 Processing FOH staff time sheets for payroll

Requirements:
 Positive attitude
 Leadership skills
 The ability to motivate and manage staff.
 Excellent computer problem-solving skills
 Excellent customer service skills
 Restaurant or management experience
 Personal Licence (preferred)
The position offered will be full time. Applications from applicants who speak Welsh and English would be an advantage but this is not essential.
