Community Innovation Project Support Officer

  1. Work alongside the Project Coordinator to implement the approved Community Innovation Denbighshire project.
  2. Publicise, communicate and highlight the project opportunities (web based and face-to-face) to partners, community groups, businesses and stakeholders.
  3. Using appropriate software packages (e.g. Canva), create adverts and promotional material for social media, Cadwyn Clwyd's website and email bulletins.
  4. Support the Project Coordinator to undertake initial consultation with various business clusters and community groups to identify challenges to be addressed and ideas to be developed into pilot projects and feasibility studies.
  5. Alongside the Project Coordinator, attend meetings (virtual or at agreed locations) with business clusters, community groups, stakeholders, and project partner to implement and develop the project.
  6. Facilitate an open call process for a target of 10 community groups to participate in the project in order to develop initial ideas into feasibility studies and pilot projects.
  7. Assist enterprises and community groups in the completion of Expression of Interest (EOI) forms and/or Application Forms.
  8. Provide project support to the Project Coordinator to assess and prioritise projects which will be supported as part of the target of 10 communities.
  9. Provide hands on project support to procure goods and services for the project, adhering to public procurement requirements.
  10. Proactively market and communicate the grant opportunities to businesses in Denbighshire, in order to achieve a target of 25 businesses.
  11. Provide full administrative support for the business grant, including processing applications, approval / rejections, claims for payments and project reports from beneficiaries.
  12. Undertake translation work for internal documentation for the project, and co-ordinate translation work with external professional communicators for official documents and public documents.
  13. Provide hands on administrative support to the Project Co-Ordinator to undertake evaluation and dissemination of information.
