Principal accountabilities, responsibilities and activities:

• Supervision and management of Bureau Operators and Seasonal Bureau

Administrators, including inductions and in-house training sessions.

• Monitor reports and submissions received by EIDCymru.

• Provide specialised technical support for keepers to enable the effective transfer

of data to EIDCymru.

• Provide a high level of customer care and technical support to the agricultural

community in Wales, signposting enquiries to third party organisation(s) as


• Identify any incorrect movement information, and work with relevant individuals

/ organisation(s) to resolve issues.

• Record and respond to telephone and face to face enquiries.

• Accurately input data from paper-based movement records onto the EIDCymru

system, including data checking, filing and storage of documents.

• Promote and facilitate the use of EIDCymru to sheep, deer and goat keepers.

• Assist the submission and entry of electronic and paper-based records.

• Liaise with external stakeholders to facilitate correct data submissions.

• Represent EIDCymru at external events, shows and meetings (as required).

• Co-ordination and administration in respect of weekly team meetings and


• Assist the Bureau Leader to facilitate the smooth running of the EIDCymru


• Assist with the creation and ongoing enhancement of maintenance user guides

for the EIDCymru system.

• Understand and familiarise with cattle registration and movement requirement

and support Bureau Operators in their understanding of the changes

• Undertake any other duties as requested from time to time as directed by the

Bureau Leader, which are commensurate with the grade of role.
