Assistant Legal Cashier

  • Checking online bankline
  • Daily reconciliations
  • Inputting debits and credits on to case management system
  • Checking client ledgers
  • Organising payments to external bodies
  • Chasing client payments

Desirable qualities: Hardworking, committed, mature individual with a strong work ethic. Committed to career development and a desire to progress. An ability to take instructions and apply them practically and to keep a cool head under pressure. Confidentiality is an essential requirement due to the nature of our business. Accuracy and attention to detail are also essential for this role. Good communication skills as will be speaking directly to clients and other professional bodies in addition to colleagues and Partners. An interest in IT would be of benefit as we work within a case management package that could be developed further to assist the overall efficiency of the finance department.

This role is for someone committed to complete the relevant courses and progress to potentially undertaking legal cashier courses in the future. This is a very niche role and an understanding of the regulations would need to be undertaken in the future.
