Course Description

Python is an easy language to learn, and it is now one of the most popular programming languages, suitable for almost any task from developing graphical user interfaces to building web applications.

This course is the introduction to the Python programming language and is open to all learners who wish to gain an understanding of the basic components in computer programming.

This course covers the core fundamentals of the Python language and the learner will learn to recognise and write syntactically correct Python Code, recognise data types supported by Python, and be able to recognise and write Python code that will logically solve complex problems.

The course is delivered as a Virtual Classroom over 4 days and covers the following topics:

Entry Criteria

As this is a foundation level course, there are no prerequisites to enrol onto this course. It would be beneficial if the candidate has some understanding of programming, and other programming languages, although this is not essential.
