Course Description

This Level 3 Diploma includes a combination of mandatory and optional units. Everyone must complete the mandatory units as they form the major part of the skills needed to work competently within the sector. They must also choose optional units relevant to their work role at the work setting.

Entry Criteria

  • You need to be working in a school for 16 hours a week or more.

All places are subject to satisfactory interview.

The programme will be delivered predominantly in the work place on a 1:1 basis with an appointed assessor who is occupationally competent within the sector. Elements of the course are taught in group sessions at college in the evenings.

The units within the Diploma Level 3 will be assessed via Direct Observation. However, all units have a requirement to provide knowledge evidence. This requires a written explanation of work practice, and this can be obtained via reflective accounts, assignment and written questioning.

You could choose one of the many different courses available at Grŵp Llandrillo Menai.
