Course Description

An 8–10 week creative photography course for adults no previous photography experience required.

Over 8–10 weeks, you’ll explore the basic principles of photography through simple demonstrations, practical activities and creative challenges. We’ll look at composition, light, colour, focus, perspective and timing, as well as exploring different ways to approach everyday subjects.

You’ll learn how to make the most of your smartphone camera, including useful camera settings and features, and discover how small changes in the way you take a photograph can make a big difference.

The course will encourage you to look at your surroundings with fresh eyes, finding interesting images in everyday places, nature, architecture and the local environment.
