Course Description
This package includes PRINCE2 AGILE Foundation only and its exam. The course is ideal for someone looking to gain first-class project management knowledge and skills, improve employment opportunities and build a career in project management. The difference between AGILE and Prince2 Project Management is AGILE is based around fast-paced, iterative, environments which are highly adaptive to user feedback.
The overall aim of this course is to enable you to gain a passing mark in the PRINCE2® AGILE Foundation exam. To pass the exam, you will need to:
- understand the key concepts relating to the AGILE mindset, project management, and organizational change management
- understand the PRINCE2 AGILE processes, AGILE workshops, and their application
- recall the PRINCE2 AGILE principles, practices, and artifacts and understand their role in an AGILE context
- understand the integration of PRINCE2 AGILE in the wider context.
Gain in-demand AGILE and project management skills to thrive in an ever- competitive market. This module covers the method’s core concepts and all the knowledge needed to BE agile, and DO agile. This qualification is aimed at Agile / Hybrid Project Managers / aspiring Project Managers. The course is also relevant to other staff involved in the design, development and delivery of projects, including: Project Board members, Team Managers, Project Assurance, Project Support, Business analysts, Product Owners.
The course is intensive and requires pre-reading of the course material of a minimum of 6 hours. There is also homework set for each of the evenings/weekend, amounting to about 1.5 hrs per evening/day
There is a requirement to keep PRINCE2 qualifications up to date through revalidation after 3 years or through AEXLOS membership CPD.
Entry Criteria
There are no formal criteria for studying at Foundation level, however a good level of interest in or experience of, Project Management is essential. Attendance on a 20 min Google meet “awareness session” is a mandatory part of the registering process.
Delivery
In person & simultaneous online delivery. 0915-1630 (approx.) on the 3rd day finish time will be 1600 due to exams. We recommend in person attendance if you can, evidence suggests that for this particular course, this can be useful.
Assessment
The FOUNDATION exam: Either paper based at St Asaph - last afternoon of course or online voucher based.
Multiple choice, 40 questions, 24/40 required to pass - 60%, 1 hour duration, closed book.
The cost of the exam is included in the fee.
