Course Description
Over four weeks, participants will engage in a combination of theoretical learning and practical application to complete small woodworking projects such as toolboxes, birdhouses and other projects.
Students will brainstorm project ideas, learning and applying the mathematical concepts required for each project. These concepts will include measurements, angles, area and perimeter calculations, fractions, and basic arithmetic. The course will be hands-on, ensuring that learners not only understand the theory but can also apply it in practical settings.
All necessary materials and equipment will be provided, and students will take home the projects they complete.
Entry Criteria
To access this free training, you will need to:
- be 19 years or older;
- live within the counties of Gwynedd, Anglesey, Conwy and Denbighshire.
