Entry Criteria
16 hours a week minimum employment in a course-related role.
Qualifications in English, Maths, Communication and/or Application of number are desirable but not essential.
Delivery
This Diploma is primarily delivered through work-based learning, meaning most of your training takes place right in your workplace kitchen. You will also do independent study to complete the knowledge parts of the qualification. To help you with this, you will have regular support sessions with your assessor and full access to research and revision materials on Google Classroom.
Assessment
Assessment for this qualification is straightforward and hands-on. Your evidence will be collected through practical observations in the kitchen, written tasks or discussions to show your understanding, alongside multiple-choice questions and exams.
Progression
Grŵp Llandrillo Menai offers an extensive suite of Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications. On the completion of this course, you will be offered progression opportunities to suit your job role.
