Course Description
This course is designed for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts who want to tackle basic masonry and wall repairs around the home and garden. Whether you’re looking to patch a hole in a wall or build a small garden feature, this is a practical, entry-level introduction.
What you will study:
- Brickwork Basics: Mastering the essentials of mixing mortar, laying bricks level, and basic pointing.
- Plastering Techniques: Learning how to prepare surfaces, apply a smooth skim coat, and repair damaged plaster.
- Tools and Materials: Understanding how to use trowels, floats, and levels correctly for a professional finish.
What to expect: A hands-on workshop focused on practical skills. You’ll spend less time on theory and more time getting "hands-on" with wet trades, ensuring you leave with the confidence to tackle your own projects safely.
