Course Description
This course is designed for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts who want a broad introduction to home maintenance and repair. If you want to try your hand at various trades before committing to a specific one, this multi-skills "taster" course is the perfect starting point.
What you will study:
- Plumbing & Plastering: Basics of pipework and achieving a smooth wall finish.
- Carpentry & Joinery: Essential timber skills, from using hand tools to basic joints.
- Brickwork: The fundamentals of mixing mortar and laying bricks correctly.
- Home Repairs: A variety of practical tasks to help you maintain your property.
What to expect: A fast-paced, hands-on workshop covering the core elements of the construction trades. You’ll get a feel for each skill by using the tools of the trade, giving you the versatility to tackle a wide range of DIY jobs with confidence.
