Course Description

This course is designed for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts who want to tackle basic brickwork projects and maintenance around the home.

This course will give you the basics of DIY Brick working skills which includes the following:

  • Health & Safety Unit
  • Prepare mortar using a standard mix
  • Use your brick trowel to lay down an even "bed" of mortar
  • Using a string line and spirit level to build a straight, level and plum wall.
  • Correct bonding patterns for a strong stable wall.
  • Building with brick and block.
