Course Description
The CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma is designed for senior procurement professionals, managers, and leaders who want to influence business strategy at the executive level. Equivalent to an Honours degree, this internationally recognised qualification focuses on high-level strategic thinking, leadership, and complex problem-solving across both the public and private sectors.
As a Level 6 student, you can expect to study advanced modules that cover global supply chain strategies, commercial risk mitigation, leadership in procurement, and financial performance management. This course will appeal to those aiming for executive-level roles, such as Procurement Director or Chief Procurement Officer, and who wish to secure globally recognised MCIPS Chartered Status.
Entry Criteria
Level 5 CIPS qualification, significant industry experience.
All places are subject to a satisfactory interview.
Delivery
This course is delivered entirely online through a structured combination of live lectures, collaborative group work, and practical sessions.Students will engage in interactive discussions, collaborate on peer-led assignments, and apply strategic procurement frameworks to real-world business case studies.
Assessment
The course is assessed through multiple choice and written exams.
Progression
The CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma is the final academic milestone required to achieve globally recognised MCIPS Chartered Status (subject to experience requirements).
As a qualification equivalent to an Honours degree, it is designed to accelerate advancement into executive leadership roles, such as Procurement Director or Chief Procurement Officer.
