Is this course right for me?
The course is ideal for experienced gas engineers, plumbers/heating engineers and installers looking to enhance their knowledge and understanding of domestic gas/electrical systems and fault finding.
Entry requirements:
Learners must hold appropriate ACS Gas certificates and must have completed EFTGE Module 1and3 prior to attending.
As a minimum, learners must hold CCN1 and the appropriate appliance category such as:
- CENWAT for wet central heating electrical control systems
- CKR1 for gas cooking appliance electrical control systems
Delivery:
1.5 day classroom-based training with some practical demonstrations.
Assessment:
- 0.5 day Practical assessment and multi-choice questions
- NICEIC certification
