This is a short workshop that gives tutors and assessors the opportunity to consider their personal practice regarding ‘embedding the Welsh language’ and discuss Estyn’s requirements in order to plan a standard teaching programme for post-14 learners in Wales.

Entry requirements:

This training is aimed at further education tutors and work based learning assessors. The training is suitable for Welsh and non-Welsh speakers.

Delivery:

Learners who undertake this course will:

Consider present practice for embedding the Welsh language and culture within lessons
Discuss practical examples for embedding the Welsh language within lessons
Develop new practical ideas for embedding the Welsh language within lessons.
