Is this course right for me?

Technical Theatre plays a vital role in creating the tight ambiance for audiences to enjoy theatrical performances. There are three pathways within this framework:

  • Technical Theatre Support (Lighting)
  • Technical Theatre Support (Sound)
  • Technical Theatre Support (Stage)

Entry requirements:

  • No formal qualifications are required but experience is desirable

All places are subject to satisfactory interview.

Delivery:

  • In the workplace

Assessment:

  • Completion of a portfolio of evidence
  • Work based observations
  • Theory based tasks and tests

Progression:

From Foundation Apprenticeship Level 2 to an Apprenticeship Level 3
