An efficient and effective Marketing team is essential to the continued success of Grŵp Llandrillo Menai. The Communications and Media Relations Officer has a key role to play in this, by ensuring a high level of positive media exposure for the Grŵp, and its colleges, learners and staff.
The postholder will deploy a range of skills and knowledge to enable them to contribute increasingly effectively to the delivery of a first rate marketing and communication service, including external and internal communication. S/he will also support other members of the Marketing and Communications Directorate and undertake other reasonable tasks and responsibilities at the request of the Director of Marketing & Communications.
The post holder will play an important role in ensuring that the Grŵp’s agreed marketing plan is implemented through providing support to the Director of Marketing and Communication and working with other team members. Additionally, s/he will be expected to communicate effectively with existing and potential customers, both within and outside the college, with suppliers and with other stakeholders. In particular, the post holder will be required to increase the college’s capacity in the field of digital marketing, including the further development of the use of social media.
The successful applicant will be expected to travel to Dolgellau and Pwllheli campuses.
